Dak Prescott broke Tony Romo’s Cowboys career passing record on a 9-yard completion to George Pickens while trailing 21โ7 in the third quarter, then directed three consecutive scoring drives to finish what became a 24โ21 Dallas win over the Philadelphia Eagles at AT&T Stadium on November 23, 2025. Brandon Aubrey’s 42-yard field goal at the final gun closed out the comeback โ the first time Philadelphia had dropped a game after leading by 21 or more points since 1999, and the first time the Cowboys had won from three touchdowns behind since 2014. Records and Milestones
Dak Prescott passed Tony Romo to become the Cowboys’ all-time leading passer, finishing the game with 34,378 career passing yards. Romo’s previous mark was 34,183. Prescott also tied Romo’s franchise record with his 25th game-winning drive when tied or trailing in the fourth quarter or overtime, surpassing the record on a 9-yard completion to George Pickens in the third quarter with Dallas trailing 21โ7.
Prescott’s home winning streak against NFC East opponents extended to 19 with the victory.
George Pickens reached 1,000 receiving yards in the 2025 regular season โ the second time he has hit that mark in his career, the first being the 2023 season. At the time of the game, only one other player in the league had also reached 1,000 receiving yards that season.
Jalen Hurts surpassed Carson Wentz to move into fourth place on the Eagles’ all-time passing yards list, finishing the season at 16,819 career yards.
DeVonta Smith tied Mike Quick for ninth place on the Eagles’ all-time receptions list with 363 career catches.
Saquon Barkley’s fumble in the fourth quarter was his first of the 2025 regular season.
Philadelphia’s loss was the first time the Eagles had dropped a game in which they held a 21-point lead since 1999, when the Arizona Cardinals came back to win 25โ24.
The win was Dallas’ first from three touchdowns behind since a 34โ31 defeat of the Los Angeles Rams in 2014.
Officials: Referee Bill Vinovich, Umpire Scott Walker, Down Judge Dale Keller, Line Judge Tripp Sutter, Field Judge Aaron Santi, Side Judge Jimmy Buchanan, Back Judge Todd Prukop.
Injuries: CB Adoree’ Jackson (PHI, concussion evaluation), S Reed Blankenship (PHI, thigh), LT Tyler Guyton (DAL, ankle).
Dallas finished with 473 total yards against Philadelphia’s 339 โ a 134-yard advantage built almost entirely across the final three quarters. Barkley’s 22 yards on 10 carries was his lowest single-game output of the season, and the two special teams fumbles that handed Dallas consecutive short fields in the fourth quarter converted what had looked, for 18 minutes, like a commanding Philadelphia statement win into one of the more dramatic statistical reversals in recent NFC East history.
